In addition, technically advanced cataract treatment plans and surgery options will be presented for discussion. About The Speaker
Dr. Denise Billings has always been interested in eyes and started wearing
glasses at the age of six. She was born and raised in Michigan, received her
undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from Michigan College of Optometry (formerly Ferris State University, College of Optometry) magna cum laude in 1982. Dr. Billings moved to Florida in 1984 and established her own practice in Port Charlotte in 1986.
She was nominated and accepted as a Fellow in The American Academy of Optometry (AAO) in 1999. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages! Dr. Billings has decades of experience seeing patients, fitting contact lenses and working with Low Vision patients. She treats each patient as she would a family member, with respect, compassion and kindness.
